At Book My Pathology (BMP), we strive to provide a seamless booking experience for our customers. The following policy governs cancellations and refunds.
Cancellation by Customer:
> More than 4 Hours Before Scheduled Appointment
Customers may cancel their booking up to 4 hours before the scheduled sample collection or appointment time and receive a full refund.
> Within 4 Hours of Scheduled Appointment
Cancellation requests received within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to cancellation charges as applicable.
Patient Not Available / Test Not Performed.
No refund shall be applicable if:
> The patient is unavailable at the scheduled address.
> Incorrect address or contact details are provided.
> The patient refuses sample collection after the phlebotomist arrives.
> The patient fails to visit the diagnostic centre at the scheduled time.
Test Cancellation Due to Medical Reasons:
If a patient is medically unfit for the test, has not followed mandatory preparation instructions (fasting, medication restrictions, etc.), or the test cannot be performed due to patient-related medical conditions, rescheduling may be offered subject to partner lab policies.
Cancellation by Partner Laboratory:
If the partner pathology lab or diagnostic centre is unable to perform the booked test due to operational reasons, equipment failure, staff unavailability, or service disruption, the customer shall be entitled to:
> Full Refund, or
> Free Rescheduling
Sample Collected / Test Initiated:
Once the sample has been collected or the diagnostic procedure has started, no cancellation or refund request shall be entertained.
Refund Processing:
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days and credited to the original payment method used during booking.
Membership Fee:
BMP Digital Membership Card Fees (Rs. 399 / Rs. 499) are non-refundable once the membership has been activated.
